Ethiopia represents one of Africa's most promising ICT markets, with a population exceeding 120 million and rapidly growing internet penetration currently at 25%. Since launching operations in August 2022, followed by our Phase 2 expansion in June 2023, we have established ourselves as a crucial enabler of Ethiopia's digital transformation.
Our facility hosts Ethiopia's first Internet Exchange through our collaboration with ADDIX Technology Solutions, marking a significant milestone in the country's digital infrastructure development. Major network operators, including Ethio Telecom, Safaricom, and Websprix, have extended their fibre networks to our Meet-Me-Room, creating a robust ecosystem for digital services.
The strategic location of our Ethiopian facility provides direct access to cable landing stations in Djibouti, Kenya, Somaliland, and Sudan. This comprehensive connectivity enables businesses to establish efficient, cost-effective network solutions across the country and beyond.
